Trail Cam Update – Close-Up Lens Results

I have been running my trail cam with a 3 dioptre close-up filter attached and the results are quite interesting. Until the filter fell off it was doing a very nice job. It’s captured some good night time shots of the mouse that likes to frequent this part of our garden. Mousey seems to come past the camera almost every night but has not been indulging in any root excavation yet. So I am still in search of the culprit and my money is still on a bank vole.

I didn’t notice straight away that the filter had dropped off. Only when I was reviewing the images and wondering why the focus quality suddenly changed dramatically part way through the batch of images, did I realise what had happened. The filter was lying in the flower bed!
