I am pleased to be launching my new project gallery Fragments of Sidmouth where you can see all 36 of the images that made up the final project presentation.
Fragments of Sidmouth – the project
This was a collaborative project between Sidmouth Photographic Club and the Sidmouth School of Art with the West Country photographer Robert Darch; it took place just after lockdown. My images were monochrome architectural vignettes from various Sidmouth buildings, some old, some new, some no longer with us.
Fragments of Sidmouth – the images
36 images were arranged in a 4 x 9 grid, and displayed on the Sidmouth School of Art billboard in the East Ham car park. The project took about eight weeks from inception to the point where the composite image was ready to be printed – the billboard is 6 m wide and 3m high. It was on display for about six weeks. Fragments of Sidmouth was the third project to go up on the billboard. Since then there have been 24 more amazing billboard artworks.
